Reviews that is. For the newly released feature film adaptation of the beloved Japanese property and occasional video game. Here are a couple of reviews from the sister site, the Blu-ray written by yours truly, the DVD version penned by Steve.
Dragonball: Evolution (DVD)
Everything moves from destination to destination—picking up hitchhikers at each stop along the way—at such a relentless pace, the funny names and completely ridiculous events all start to blend together. The final act is just a mishmash of CG and action that is so unintelligible even those who did manage to latch onto the first 45 minutes of this “road” picture will be thrown completely for a loop. The titular Dragon Balls don’t even factor in until the end where they appear briefly for plot convenience before being lost again.

Dragonball: Evolution (Blu-ray)
Look, I don’t care if you’re 10 years old, live most of your life hopped up on Trix, can’t get enough of karate punching your younger brother, and eat/breathe/poop all things Dragonball—this movie is likely to piss you off. What a painful, moronic experience this is and that’s including the “for a PG-rated kids movie” disclaimer. Kids, you deserve better, especially if you’re a Dragonball devotee. There might be a small contingent of the target demographic who won’t want to scoop out their eyeballs with a ladle after watching. But if you’re a parent of such a child, I recommend an immediate neurological exam.

Incidentally – my review should say GUILTY… not NOT GUILTY!
No idea how that happened.
So I take it these movies were like peeing a stream of blazing agony?
