Dragon Age II? Could it Be?

So I cracked open a copy of the hot off the press Dragon Age expansion from the suddenly prolific RPG gurus at Bioware only to discover the following card inserted into the game’s packaging:

Sorry for the crappy webcam pic, awash as it is with overhead flourescent lighting, but you can clearly see a nice rendering of the Dragon Age poster child, the Blood Dragon, and a single date…

Dragon age II? Another Dragon Age expansion? Your guess is as good as mine. Either way i applaud Bioware’s brilliant efforts at teasing the crap out of us. Given the relatively distant date given, my money is on a sequel.

I’m thankful for…HERE COMES A NEW CHALLENGER!!

God of War Collection inbound for PS3!

A press release from Sony just hit my inbox with some awesome news for God of War fans: The multi-million selling PS2 franchise is hitting the PS3 this Holiday season. Included on a blu-ray disc are God of War and God of War II, both completely remastered and presented in 720p and running at 60frames per second with full on Anti-aliasing and all the next gen trimmings. As the games were pretty damn stunning looking outings to begin with, this is one announcment that is full of win.

Original founder of EGM to resurrect magazine this fall

Electronic Gaming Monthly, after dying an unceremonious death when UGO purchased 1UP in January of 2009 has returned once again to the hands of the man who originally founded the legendary gaming rag.  Steve Harris, who started EGM in Summer of 1989 has reaquired both online and print distribution rights as part of an undisclosed agreement between himself and the Ziff-Davis Media Group.  His plans: Relaunch Electronic Gaming Monthly to the public by Fall of 2009.
