This is a flowchart of every JRPG ever made, by Joe Juba. It is a symphony of directional arrows and truth boxes.
Deny it all you want, but everything here reeks of fact.

Let me the first to say; “HELL YES!” Release date is at the end of the trailer, and it’s closer than you think!
These guys are ready! But are you?
Sure, everyone is following the big guns, we’re all ready for and awaiting our Uncharted Twos and our Modern Warfare twos and our Assassin’s Creed Twos and on and on. I’m not going to preview or run down the hot commodities here, no, my purpose here is to shed some light on a few other titles you may have overlooked in the stream of sequel hype that preceeds the glut of triple-A high-profile wallet-fodder.
I’m kicking things off with my personal favorite genre. I’m a dice roller, a stat geek, a fantasy devotee with more repeat readings of The Lord Of The Rings under my belt than i care to admit. Join me brave adventurer, or whatever, y’know, as i present to thee, or you, 5 Role-players coming to consoles this fall (marring unforseen delays) that just might be worth your time and hard earned cash, perhaps you’ll see something that looks kinda cool.
That's right... THE espionage RPG!
The espionage RPG infiltrates store shelves on October 2nd of this year.
From the guys behind Neverwinter Nights 2 and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith War comes this spy-rpg which seems to bear a little more than a passing resembalence to another sci-fi tinged RPG from Edmonton’s Bioware studios (being Mass Effect for those of you who can’t comprehend subtlety).
Sure it’s a little under the radar right now, but it seems ondly fitting for a spy game, no? At any rate, the game looks awesome, and the October release date gives you the chance to brush up on your spy skills by watching Jason Bourne movies all summer long (and you can brush up on your interrogation techniques with 24 reruns!)
The latest trailer for the game is included after the break.

The Charge:
108 Stars of Destiny on the Nintendo DS.
Opening Statement:
Suikoden Tierkreis marks the debut of Konami’s long-running RPG series Suikoden onto the Nintendo DS. Some elements get left behind in the scaling down to its tiny, dual screens, but enough of the game remains to make it worthwhile for fans of the franchise to explore. Think of it as a diet version of Suikoden, calorie-free but still delicious-tasting.
